Design, we start by listening then move to ideas on paper.
At HANLI, great bags start with great conversations. We begin by listening closely to your needs — the function, aesthetic, materials, and price point you’re aiming for. From there, we review samples from the market for inspiration, then move into ideation: quick hand-drawn sketches that bring early concepts to life.

Watch your ideas take shape. As your ideas move into colorful 2D and 3D images you can present to Sales and Marketing, early feedback can be gathered before live samples are made.
Process, clear & confident –
From kickoff to first sample, we move fast and keep you in the loop: sketches → color/material stories → 2D tech packs → photo-real 3D renders. You review each milestone, we refine construction and cost, and your first physical sample arrives 90% dialed in.
Moving from paper to the computer
Turning the sketches into realistic images
Once direction is approved, our team translates those sketches and conversations into detailed digital designs, layering in color stories, fabric selections, hardware options, and custom print ideas.
We work form several print sites to quickly search for patterns and designs or we can use Ai to build on our design direction.

We run short, focused design sprints that turn conversations into proofs. Every sprint ends with a tangible deliverable—renderings, patterns, prints, or a costed BOM—so decisions are simple and momentum never stalls.

Samples
Working with the sample room
Next, we build physical samples for your review — allowing time for modifications or refinements — followed by a pre-production sample that mirrors the final product. During this phase, we also coordinate any required product testing, label design, compliance details, and packaging specifications. Only after everything is aligned do we greenlight full production.
